Wadner Tranchant Sues Ritz-Carlton for Discrimination for Complying with British Family's Request for "No Black Waiters"

The lawsuit states, Tranchant, who is seeking $75,000 in damages, was "humiliated and embarrassed" by the incident. It is shameful what some grouping module do for money. If the allegations are true, the hotel pleased favouritism on the foundation of making money. That's covetousness at its worst. The Rodney Morgan family checked into the hotel Feb. 28, and a state in the hotel’s computers, directed by Vice President and Director Edward Staros, said, “as per Mr. Staros, this pair is rattling rattling prejudice.’’ The state went on to say the family didn’t poverty to be served by anyone of colouration or with a external accent, according to the lawsuit. On March 12, Tranchant, a U.S. citizen who has worked for the hotel for 15 years, was prevented by his unmediated supervisors from serving the Morgans at The Grill restaurant, said his attorney, archangel McDonnell of Naples. hotelkeeper Carlton spokeswoman Vivian Deuschl wouldn’t comment on the lawsuit, saying the consort doesn’t handle pending litigation. “The hotelkeeper Carlton Hotel Company does not tolerate favouritism from our employees or our guests,” she said.
